Increased patrols by Paphos Police after robberies committed at kiosks within days Regular checks at overnight kiosks

Paphos Police are taking increased measures after two robberies at two kiosks committed within a week.

Paphos Police Spokesman and Head of the Paphos Police Station Michael Nicolaou said in a statement that the Paphos Police will increase patrols and check kiosks and bakeries more regularly during the night hours in response to the two robberies at overnight kiosks committed within a week.

In addition, Mr. Nicolaou calls on the owners of kiosks, shops, leisure centres and residences to take their own preventive measures. Nicolaou said that two robberies were committed within a week at two kiosks, one of which is located in Paphos on the central Eleftherios Venizelos Avenue and the other in Chloraka on Archbishop Makarios Street.
