Handcuffs to a 51-year-old were worn by the police in Limassol for theft of money and jewellery from a house.

According to information, the theft from the home of a 70-year-old woman was allegedly committed between 1/1/22 and 3/15/22 where a total of 300 euros as well as jewellery and jewellery worth approximately 26,600 euros were stolen.

Specifically, the suspect occasionally appears to have been cleaning the home of the 70-year-old woman who on 15/3/22 found that the above had been stolen from her home, leading her to make a complaint to the police.

Members of the CID visited the scene where it was found that there were no traces of tampering of the house while the examinations led to suspicions against the suspicious woman.

The 51-year-old woman was arrested with a court warrant and placed in custody while interrogated, denies any involvement in the case.

Police investigations continue.
