A young homegrown man who was stopped for control last night by members of the Z group, was found to be driving while using drugs.
According to information from the Cyprus Times, the 33-year-old was driving his vehicle on Makarios Avenue in Geroskipou when members of Paphos traffic police's Z team stopped him[/B] for checking.
He tested positive to a narcotics test and a subsequent search of his vehicle revealed two large stab wounds.
His vehicle was detained at the police station while he was released pending the results of the state chemist.
Police investigations continue.
