Six cases of shop burglaries in Chloraka are being investigated by the Paphos Police Department

Six cases of burglaries and thefts in shops in Chloraka are being investigated by the Paphos Criminal Investigation Department from which the alleged perpetrator obtained stolen property amounting to approximately 8 thousand euros.

According to the Press Spokesman and Head of the Paphos CID Michael Nicolaou, six cases of burglary and theft were reported, committed on Chloraka Avenue and in shops, which are next to each other or across the street between the dates of February 19- 21, 2022.

Of the six stores, they are a supermarket, a newsstand, a real estate office, a beauty salon, an optical shop and a coffee shop. Property with a total value of 7,940 euros in money and various items such as alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, etc. was stolen.

In two of the six cases, according to Mr. Nicolaou, there was a closed circuit surveillance system from which the suspect's movements were recorded and a 27-year-old man was identified as the suspect. An arrest warrant was issued against the 27-year-old.

Investigations are continuing by the Paphos CID.
