Twenty-seven-year-old man allegedly involved in 14 burglaries and thefts in Pafo

Fourteen shop burglaries, offices and residences, a 27-year-old man is allegedly involved in fourteen burglaries of shops, offices and residences in Pafos district[/B], according to Pafos Assistant Police Director Michael Ioannou.

Ioannou said that a case of possession of burglary tools, burglary and theft of houses, offices and shops and burglary of a building with intent to commit a felony committed between the dates of January 24 and 26, 2022 in Paphos is being investigated against the 27-year-old.

The suspect, he added, allegedly broke into a funeral home, a civil engineer's office, a contractor's office, a limb grooming shop, a hairdressing salon, a language institute, a shop selling electric bicycles and a real estate office in the Hospital area, in the centre of Paphos and in Konia, among others.

He also said that the suspect was identified by members of the Paphos CID from closed circuit television surveillance.

Investigations are continuing by the Paphos CID.
