Two persons were detained for a case of stabbing and illegal possession of property in Paphos.

Mr Ioannou said that the 24-year-old and 37-year-old have been previously employed by the investigating authorities for various offences. A check on the vehicle revealed that it had been reported stolen to the Paphos central police station while a warrant for arrest was pending against the 24-year-old for the offences of written threats of murder, threats of arson, threats of assault, malicious damage, common assault, all of which were committed against a 45-year-old resident of Paphos.
