Mayor Michael Pavlidis passed away.
He was battling cancer where he ended up leaving behind a wife and three children.
He had resigned from his duties at the end of 2021 due to the health problem he was facing.
Michalis Pavlidis was born in Geroskipou on January 28, 1955.
He studied at the Doxiadis School in Athens at the Department of Structural Works Foremen.
He attended the Doxiadis School in Athens. Subsequently, he attended Princeton College in England. He was an entrepreneur, shareholder and technical director of a land development and building construction company.
He was a founding member and president of the Geroskipou Cultural Movement.
He was married to Athena Pavlidou with whom they had three children.
