Even executions are being threatened by organized groups of vaccine deniers with their action taking dangerous proportions According to documents released by ERT, the gunmen do not hesitate to sign supposedly sacred declarations that they will take the law into their own hands.
One of the supporters of the man calling for an uprising had previously posted a video on social media showing off his military-style knives, and in a recent post, prosecutors are also targeted.
The latest politician to be threatened is the Mayor of Kilkis, Dimitris Kyriakidis, according to a document in ERT's possession, dated December 10, 2021.
In ERT's communication with the Municipality of Kilkis, it was reported that the document was received by a deputy mayor who initialed it, while the police and judicial authorities are aware of it. The Anti-Terrorist Service and the National Security Service are involved in investigations to map dangerous denialist cells across the country.
