The former survival reality show contestant spoke about his experiences and revealed how much money he received per week

One year after his participation in Survivor, Giorgos Koromi spoke to "Hello" magazine about how his life is now, and revealed how much he received each week as a paycheck from the reality survival show.

Regarding how much his life has changed since Survivor, the former contestant replied, "It's definitely changed for the better and I'm glad I was able to have this experience. Professional doors have opened up for me and I'm enjoying the recognition and the love of the people, as well as everyone who took part. I stayed in the game for seven months, so the world has seen me through joys, sorrows and tensions. They feel familiar with me and this is expressed when they approach me and talk to me". My motivation for taking part was purely that. It goes without saying that the money we were paid was a great boost as we were in lockdown and there were no jobs, but it wasn't the reason for being there. I remember other players counting each passing week and adding up the amounts. They were calculating how much they had to stay to take care of obligations they had outside of the game. I didn't think that way. The first 15 days were tough, but then I was lost, the island ate me up! The fighters were getting 1000 euros a week net."
