The news of the death of Neofytos Demosthenous, a man who worked in television, behind the cameras, for many years, has caused sadness.
Phytos, as he was known, had recently had a difficult battle with cancer.
He had worked for many years in the DIAA complex. He was particularly beloved by journalists, who sent him messages of sadness.
He was married to Silia Ioannidou, editor-in-chief of the magazine Madame Figaro Cyprus and one of the three Chasers of the TV game show "The Chase", with whom he had a daughter Rhea.
