Today, early in the morning there will be localized thin fog and low clouds, mainly in the eastern half of the island, which will soon disperse, while periods of sunshine will alternate with overcast, which is expected to give isolated, mainly light, showers. Winds will be northeast to southeast, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and locally, in the west and on the northern coast, up to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The temperature will rise to around 20 degrees inland and on the coast, except on the northern coast where it is expected to be around 23 degrees and around 10 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight the weather will become partly cloudy and partly cloudy at times, while thin fog and low clouds are expected to form in leeward inland areas. Winds will be northeast to southeast and locally northwest, light to moderate on the windward coast, 3 to 4 Beaufort. In the midnight hours they will gradually become strong to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort, on the windward coast. The sea will be slightly choppy on the leeward side, but choppy to choppy on the inshore side. Temperatures will drop to around 9 degrees inland, around 14 on the west coast, around 13 on the rest of the coast and around 3 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost is likely to form locally.

Snowfall is expected in the higher elevations, while very strong southwesterly winds will blow on the offshore. On Tuesday the weather will be mainly cloudy in the morning, with local showers or isolated thunderstorms, and occasional snowfall on the higher Troodos peaks. Later it will become partly cloudy and locally overcast.
Temperatures will drop slightly on Sunday, though remaining just above average climatic values. A drop in temperature is expected on Monday, to be close to average climatic values, while a slight rise is expected on Tuesday.
