Traffic to the Troodos areas continues normally, with all roads open for all vehicles at around 4:00 on Sunday afternoon.[/B]
Although there is increased traffic towards Troodos, the Troodos Square area is now congested and traffic continues without any particular problems.
Due to the traffic congestion that occurred earlier in the afternoon, the movement of vehicles to Troodos was controlled, with temporary traffic cuts on the roads Prodromos-Troodos, Karvouna-Troodos and Platron-Troodos.
Following the decongestion on the road network in the higher mountainous areas, vehicle movement is currently free, with no controlled regulation.
Members of the Police are on the Troodos roads
to regulate traffic and assist the public where necessary. Drivers are urged to exercise caution, obey the traffic code and comply with the instructions of on-duty police members.
