Arrests of four persons for burglary and theft in Limassol Part of the stolen property was found yesterday afternoon, after an investigation conducted by members of the Limassol Police Department, at the 45-year-old woman's residence
The police in Limassol arrested four persons[/B] for three different cases of burglary and theft. They are two men aged 35 and 29, and two women aged 45 and 26.
Specifically, according to the police, the 35-year-old man and the 45-year-old woman were arrested for the purposes of investigating a case of theft of property from an open-air bar in Limassol, from which various items, including a number of seats, CCTV cameras and an electronic internet connection device were stolen on five separate occasions last month.
Part of the stolen property was found yesterday afternoon, following a search carried out by members of the Limassol OPE at the 45-year-old woman's residence. The suspect was arrested and this morning she was placed under a four-day remand by the Limassol District Court. At noon today, the 35-year-old man was also arrested on the basis of a court warrant issued against him.
In another case, a 29-year-old man was arrested at noon today, at whose residence a motorcycle, worth 6.000 euros, which had been stolen between Friday night and Saturday morning, February 18 and 19, while parked in the parking lot of an apartment building.
In addition, police officers arrested a 26-year-old woman, who was found inside a house, by its owner, at 6.30 this morning. The suspect fled when she noticed him, however members of the police, who rushed to the area, located her at a nearby location. According to evidence obtained from investigations at the scene, the 26-year-old is said to be the woman who broke into the residence, from which, however, no property was stolen.
