The Fire Service was put on alert on Monday night after a call about a fire in a stone-built country house in the village of Vasa Koilaniou in Limassol district.
According to the Fire Service Press Office, at 22:32 a call was received for a fire in a country house.
To extinguish the fire, the Moniatis Outdoor Fire Station responded with two fire engines.
Due to the fire and heat, the electrical equipment in the extended room of the house was damaged, as well as part of the paint of the house.
The causes of the fire will be investigated by the Fire Service in conjunction with the Police and the Electromechanical Service.
