[/P]Three calls due to severe weather and mainly rainfall, concerning the districts of Nicosia, Paphos and Famagusta, were responded to by the police in the last 24 hours.
In a statement today, the Fire Brigade said that from 06:00 on 3 January 2022 until 06:00 on 4 February 2022, it responded to 25 calls for assistance, 14 fires, 9 special services, of which only 3 were related to natural disasters and 2 false calls.
The calls due to severe weather, mainly rainfall, involved the Nicosia, Paphos and Famagusta Districts, with the Fire Brigade responding to two incidents, which involved the falling and moving of trees in Nicosia and Paphos Districts and one incident involving the moving/dropping of loose materials in Famagusta District.
