Police members assisted in Troodos
Due to the weather conditions prevailing in the Troodos area, members of the Police are on standby to provide any necessary assistance to the public.
Last night, on-duty police officers from the Platres and Troodos Stations had to intervene on eight occasions.

According to police, due to the low temperatures and frost, 8 motorists were trapped in the snow with their cars and on-duty members , provided them with assistance to move them and extricate the vehicles.
In one of these cases, on the Platres - Troodos road, a car, in which a family was trapped, and the occupants were safely transported by police patrol car to the hotel where they were staying in Platres.
