The 33-year-old woman was arrested, accused of the death of her 68-year-old boyfriend in Evia. On January 2, the young woman had attacked with alcohol and set fire to her partner, who died on Sunday night.
According to information from eviathema.gr, an arrest warrant had been issued against her, while on Tuesday morning she will be taken to court.
The young woman went to the victim's house in the afternoon of January 2 and "doused" him with alcohol in order to burn him alive, while immediately afterwards she left the house, leaving him alone and helpless.
"Yes, I went and burned him"
The woman is alleged to be a drug user and has been a frequent concern of the police authorities. She admitted to officers at the Lake Police Station that she did go to the house to burn him and left immediately afterwards without helping him.
She had taken more than 10,000 euros
In fact, according to the same source, it seems that this is not the first time the 33-year-old woman had targeted the man in question, as she had taken more than 10 from him in the past.000 euros.
The man remained helpless from the evening of 2 January until the afternoon of Thursday 6/1 and was taken to the Health Centre of Istria, while shortly after 10.30 in the evening he was in the emergency room of the Hospital of Chalkida, due to the severity of his burns.
The same evening, however, due to the critical state of his health, he was transferred to the Hospital "Evangelismos".
