Ersin Tatar gives order to form "government" on Tuesday
Occupation leader Ersin Tatar is expected today, Tuesday, to give the order to form a "government" to National Unity Party leader Faiz Suzhouoglu.
As reported in the occupied territories, the Tatar-Sujouoglu meeting was scheduled for 11 a.m.
The "government" was resigned by Mr. Suzhouoglu yesterday, via teleconference, since the T/C leader is ill with coronavirus.
In statements after the teleconference, which took place after the swearing-in of the new "parliament", Mr. Suzhouoglu said that after the "formation mandate" he will have meetings with the leaders of political parties noting that the aim is to form a "strong government" for an economic and political stability.
He also said that contacts so far with various parties have not borne fruit for the formation of a "government", noting that "there is neither something positive nor something negative".
He did not rule out the possibility of a second and third round of contacts with parties, while referring to possible cooperation with the Republican Turkish Party, he said it was an alternative form of forming a "government."
