PKK chairman,Toufan Erhurman and party "deputy" candidates visited shopkeepers in the Arasta area in the occupied walled Nicosia, where he said they would take the initiative to open a barrier at the Famagusta Gate as well.
According to the GMP, the shopkeepers, who are having a difficult time due to the pandemic and mismanagement, informed the PKK delegation about the problems they are facing, and the delegation shared with them proposals to solve these problems.
Toufan Erhurman claimed that after the "elections", his party will form a "government" with its plans and programmes. He said they would tackle the problems with determination and solve them without delay.
He added that the first job they would do would be to start an initiative to open a transit point at Famagusta Gate in Nicosia.
