Mandatory high protection mask or double surgical mask for catering workers There will be a ban on entertainment for standing people, with distance limits and six people per table Music will only be stopped when it is found that these restrictions have not been met With a 10% capacity for matches in stadiums, with a maximum of 1,000 people
Announcements on the new measures to contain the pandemic are currently being made by the Minister of Health, Thanos Plevris, following the recommendations of the experts to the government.
As has already been made known, there will be no interim measures - before the New Year, that is - but these will come into force from 3 January.
This was also announced by the Minister, explaining that any new measures before New Year's Day would lead to the transfer of entertainment to homes, causing more problems.
At the same time, he appealed to young people to observe the measures and get tested before coming into contact with people over 60 or unvaccinated.
The measures are as follows:
Mandatory use of high protection masks or double surgical masks for catering workers as well.
From 3 January, entertainment hours will apply, with shops closing at midnight. At the same time, entertainment for standing people will be banned, and there will be distance limits and six people per table. Music will be stopped only if it is found that the above restrictions are not respected.
