[Cyprus Times] Dust continues to "choke" Cyprus The forecasts of the Meteorological Service until Thursday

Weak high pressure is affecting the area, while from Wednesday weak low pressure is expected in the area. Dust will continue to be observed in the atmosphere, concentrations of which are expected to be elevated at times.

Today, the weather will be mostly clear however, occasional high clouds will be observed. Winds in the morning will be mainly westerly to north-westerly and locally variable, light, 3 Beaufort to become south-westerly to north-westerly by midday, light and occasionally locally moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little rough. Temperatures will rise to around 28 degrees inland, around 24 on the west coast, around 25 on the rest of the coast and around 20 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight, the weather will be mainly clear. Winds will be northwest to northeast and locally variable, light, 2 to 3 Beaufort and the sea will be calm to slightly choppy. The temperature will drop to around 13 degrees inland, around 14 degrees on the coast and around 12 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will be mainly clear but occasionally there will be increased clouds. During the nights and early mornings on Wednesday and Thursday, sparse fog or mist and low clouds are expected to form locally.

Temperatures are generally not expected to show any significant change until Thursday, to remain well above average climatic values.
