The number of cases was also increased today new cases occurred, with the Ministry of Health announcing another 3,374 cases in Cyprus in just 24 hours.

For another day, hundreds of cases were detected in school premises as, according to the table below published by the Ministry, primary and secondary education, test to stay and special schools "hit the red".

In particular, a total of 145 cases were detected in primary education, another 85 in secondary education, 120 through the test to stay measure and 6 cases in special schools.

A total of 356 cases were detected in education.

According to the Ministry, new cases were also detected in nursing homes and closed structures, despite the increased measures.



In particular, 27 cases were detected in nursing homes and another 5 in closed structures.

233 covid patients, 63 in serious condition

In total, 233 patients with COVID-19 are hospitalized in the hospitals of the OCYPY, of which 63 are in serious condition or in NSAIDs.

Of the 63 patients in serious condition, 29 are intubated, 3 are in an Intensive Care Unit off ventilator, and 31 are in an Intensive Care Unit.
