2,226 new cases were announced in the last 24 hours in Cyprus.
The new cases were detected by 95,650 disease detection tests with a positive rate of 2.33%.
According to data published by the Ministry of Health, 30 cases were detected in nursing homes in the last 24 hours.
At the same time 43 cases were detected in secondary education.
