It is with profound sadness that the UK expatriate community and the Democratic Rally bid farewell to an ardent patriot who kept the desire for the liberation of Cyprus unquenched to the end, one of the founding members of the Organisation of the Democratic Rally in the United Kingdom, George Karagiorgis.
The party's statement said that George Karagiorgis was a patriot who contributed greatly to spreading the principles and values of our party in the United Kingdom, serving as a financial administrator from 1981 to the present day. Active and involved to the last moment, he leaves a legacy of his fighting spirit and his multifaceted contribution.
The leadership and staff of the Democratic Rally extend their sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of George Karagiorgis.
