"The Democratic Party expresses its concern about the mixed messages that the government is sending to society in relation to the management of the pandemic and the measures that are being decided.
The contradictions between what the government announces and what members of the scientific committee state in public cause confusion, upset and open up a serious issue of credibility.
We fully understand the need for action, yet we ask: if the criteria are not scientific, on what basis are they decided?
Effective management of the pandemic requires cohesion, appropriate measures and the cooperation of society. The government must ensure the alliance of society by strengthening its credibility and without underestimating the intelligence of citizens."
