The President of the Interior Committee of the Parliament and AKEL MP, Aristos Damianou, issued a written statement on the reform of local self-government.

Unlike all other parties and despite the expiry of the agreed deadline for tabling amendments, they refused for the second time to do so.
We hand them over to the citizens to judge. We also call on the Minister of Interior and the leadership of the Coalition to decide what they want. [/b]AKEL will not continue to tolerate this theatre of absurdity,
