The synergies that can be made between the Cyprus Sports Organisation and the newly established committee of AKEL for the prevention and combating of bullying were discussed on Friday, at a meeting of COA President Andreas Michaelides with the ACPEL Bullying Committee at the COA offices.
The AKEL Committee consisted of AKEL Larnaca MP Andreas Pasiourtidis, the head of the social policy sector of the AKEL C.E. Evanthia Savva and EDON General Secretary Seviro Koula.
According to a statement by the CTO, the meeting discussed AKEL's and EDON's anti-bullying campaign and the actions planned, while the CTO provided an update on the organisation's actions against bullying.
The meeting was also attended by CTO official Stephanie Wheeler, while the delegation of AKEL was briefed towards the end of the meeting by the General Director of the Organisation, Mary Papamiliades.
