The three arrests[/b] in the shocking double femicide case have reached three, with reports suggesting that it is not ruled out that the circle of arrests could widen further.
The arrest of the 30-year-old Syrian man, who has been in custody since Saturday as a suspect in the case and is considered by investigators to be an accomplice of the 32-year-old confessed Syrian perpetrator, appears to have been pivotal.

The 3rd person handcuffed today is a 41-year-old Syrian who was questioned before in the case. He is the brother of the 32-year-old confessed killer. Investigators in the case reportedly have evidence placing him at the scene.
As reported in a previous Cyprus Times article, investigators have been under the microscope for hours and studying the 30-year-old's telecommunications data while evaluating point by point what both suspects reported in their statements.
However, a domino effect of developments around the case cannot be ruled out. According to reports, the police estimate that on the night in question there were other persons in the country house, despite the 32-year-old's insistence that he told the investigators that he did everything himself.
