The Consumer Protection Service announces the completion of the survey to collect data on the average retail price levels of basic consumer goods as of 9/2/2022.
This Survey is conducted on a monthly basis and includes fixed products and price taking locations. Its purpose is to monitor price fluctuations of consumer staples and to draw relevant conclusions.
The Consumer Protection Service clarifies that Price Watches are prepared solely for the purpose of assisting/general information of consumers, and in no way constitute advice. The Price Observatory is not intended and cannot replace the market research to be carried out by each consumer on the basis of his own preferences, data and needs, nor is it intended to indicate to consumers the points of sale to choose.
In particular, it is noted that some of the products included in the Price Observatory have qualitative differences, which cannot be taken into account in the results of a Price Observatory. To this end, the Consumer Protection Service urges consumers to conduct meaningful market research before making purchases in order to find the products and prices that meet their requirements.
