Of course, as with any conspiracy theory, nothing can be proven, only speculation and imaginary scenarios from the minds of the conspiracy theorists who believe them.
So the new conspiracy theory has to do with the number 68, which appears in the sum of the dates of the two world wars and by pure chance in the sum of the date of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. "Since 68 appears in the two world wars, and it also appears in the invasion of Ukraine, so something bad will happen, maybe even a new world war," they say with great confidence.
It's what we call butter on their bread. Conspiracy theories make them feel alive. But let's see by numbers what exactly they have concocted to support their theory.
The sum
World War I has July 28, 1914 as the date it broke out. So conspiracy theorists say: 28/7/1914= 28+7+19+14 which gives us the number 68
The Second World War has as its date of outbreak September 1, 1939. Again the conspiracy theorists arbitrarily and without any logic do the following operation. The invasion took place on February 24, 2022, which according to them translates to 24/2/2022= 24+2+20+22 which again gives us the sum of 68.
And to be serious, none of this means anything. Besides, the way they add the year of each war which they divide in two is far from arbitrary and just serves them.
