In the last 24 hours, the police have received 7 complaints from citizens and 1 establishment for violation of measures to limit the spread of coronavirus.
As a spokesman for the communication branch of the Police told CNA, during the last 24 hours ending at 06:00 on Friday, a total of 1,647 were carried out throughout free Cyprus.
In Nicosia 497 checks were carried out and 3 citizens and 1 establishment were reported, in Limassol 123 checks were carried out and 2 citizens' complaints were made, in Larnaca 1 citizen was reported after 315 checks were carried out, in Paphos 41 complaints were made without any complaints, in Famagusta 1 citizen was reported after 360 checks and in Morphou 137 checks were carried out without any complaints.
The Traffic Departments and the Port and Maritime Police carried out 144 and 30 checks respectively without any complaints.
