Committee of Experts recommends one-week extension of all measures in Greece The Committee of Experts has proposed extending the measures that came into force before New Year - They ask that the music ban also be maintained
The extension of the measures for coronavirus by one week has been proposed to the government by the Committee of Experts.
The experts reportedly considered that the measures put in place and due to be in force until 16 January should be extended by one week, i.e. until 23 January.
Next week there will be a reassessment to decide whether the framework of interventions will be completed on 23 January or whether a further extension until the end of the month will be needed.
Despite the information, experts have recommended that the ban on music in restaurants and entertainment be maintained, as they felt it should not be lifted at this stage of the pandemic.
Following the recommendation, the government will have to make decisions, which are expected to be announced in the coming hours.
