[CYPRUS TIMES] Clarification and reminder from the Ministry of Health on rapid tests in kindergartens and pre-primary schools

Ministry of Health announcement on the weekly Rapid test in kindergartens and pre-primary schools

The Ministry of Health reminds that from Monday 21 February 2022, children aged 4 years and over attending kindergartens and pre-primary education, are required to have a Rapid test once a week. The Rapid test will be provided free of charge by the sampling points of the Ministry of Health programme announced on a daily basis.

It is clarified that:

- Each school may designate a specific day on which children will be tested weekly.

- The above decision excludes children who have completed their vaccination programme.
