A new traffic accident occurred on Tuesday morning on the road Sotiras-Liopetriou, in Famagusta District.

According to police, at around 7.50am, a female driver, while driving on the Sotiras-Liopetriou road, under unclear circumstances, lost control of her vehicle, causing her to hit a road railing and the car overturned.

From the collision and the overturning of the vehicle, the driver was injured and an ambulance was rushed to the scene to take her to hospital.

At the scene of the accident, members of the police are conducting tests to determine the exact cause of the collision, while traffic is being regulated by the traffic police.
