Cable sparks the cause of the fire in the occupied territories Two out of three places under control One person injured One person fainted due to the fumes Aircraft from Turkey are operating
The ignition caused by electrical sparks in the area of Panagra, caused fires to erupt in three different places, said "Prime Minister", Unal Ustel that sparks from the electric cables in the area ignited in three different places. Two of them, he added, are being extinguished, while efforts to bring the third spot under control are ongoing.
The Kipris Post website reports that one person has been injured as he reportedly fainted due to the fumes. He was reportedly given first aid by a team in the area.

- Fire out of control in occupied Panagra. It is heading towards the forest
As reported from the occupied territories, in his statements on the spot in the area of the fire, Mr. Ustel said that at the moment a helicopter and a firefighting plane from Turkey[/B] and a helicopter from the Bases are operating from the air. Another helicopter from Turkey is expected, he added. "Our goal is to control and extinguish the fire by tonight. We hope that no harm will be caused to people. With Allah's help this fire will be dealt with," he said."
Human lives are more important than anything else, he added, saying the houses were evacuated as a precautionary measure but the owners will return to them. "We can't give a number on how many houses were evacuated, but most of them were empty. But they were evacuated so that nothing would happen to those who lived in some of them."
Ustel also announced that a firefighting helicopter would be stationed at the illegal airport in Tybu from June 1.
The wind blew the fire towards the houses, said for his part the "minister of agriculture", Dursun Oyous, who also went to the scene. He too expressed hope that the fire would be brought under full control by evening. He also said that due to the thick smoke some people felt discomfort, but there was no serious medical incident.
Opposition leader and PTK chairman Toufan Erhiurman also went to the site of the fire and wished that it would be brought under control with the least possible risk. He recalled the big fire in the Morphou area in May 2020 and the destruction of a large number of trees then. "We must finally learn the necessary lesson from all this," he added.
In videos uploaded by various T/C websites, hay bales can be seen to have been burned and areas where the "fire brigade" or other fire-fighting forces have poured water can be seen to be on fire again. Several civilians can be seen trying to put out the fire with tree branches or making a firefighting zone where the ground allows it with their tractors.
