The businessman was kidnapped on December 29 in Drafi, while early Friday morning the kidnappers left him in Tatoi.
According to initial information, the 40-year-old businessman is in good health.
It is recalled that the kidnappers were until a few days ago going up and down the amount demanded as ransom in order to release the 40-year-old, adding to the anxiety of his family.

Subsequently, George Kyparissis' brother, who did the bargaining with the perpetrators, managed to bring the ransom down to 1 million by trying to raise the cash.
By a few days ago, however, the kidnappers had hardened their stance and were up and down on their demands trying to get a higher ransom.
From 1 million they dropped to 700.000 euros but eventually they demanded the original amount again.
The chronicle of the kidnapping
The businessman on December 29 was eating at a tavern in Liosia when at about 1:00 in the morning, on his return to his house in Drafi, he disappeared under unknown circumstances.
On the way back, unknown persons allegedly abducted him shortly before he reached his house in Drrafi.
Then the fire brigade was notified that two cars were found burnt by arson in the settlement of Finikas, at the second exit to Spata. It is suspected that these cars belong to the kidnappers.

The businessman runs a car parts shop in Acharnes and Thessaloniki together with his brother who are considered the "kings" of spare parts.
