The perpetrators of a jewellery store burglary that occurred at dawn[/b] in Paphos shopping centre[/b]
The offender entered, about fifteen minutes before five in the morning, into the store through the ventilation system which he breached by breaking through a plasterboard wall.
Although the store's alarm system[/b] immediately sounded, the offender was able to snatch, of as yet unknown value, jewelry and other valuables that were in the store's windows.
In a few minutes the owner and the police had rushed to the scene but the offender managed to disappear.
Police are evaluating the images recorded by the closed-circuit television available in the store.
