The debate on the 2022 State Budget continues today in the Plenary
The three-day debate began yesterday with the speeches of the Leaders of the Parliamentary Parties.Today, the House session will begin at 9 a.m. with 19 MPs taking their seats by 1 p.m., as scheduled.
The session will adjourn at 1:00 p.m. and resume at 3:00 p.m. with another 19 MPs taking their seats this afternoon.
The debate will resume tomorrow and after the closing speeches of the party representatives, the vote to approve the budget will follow.
According to yesterday's statements, the budget for 2022 is expected to be passed, with the votes of DISY, DIKO and DIPA MPs, while AKEL and ELAM said they will vote against the budget. EDEK and the Movement of Ecologists have not yet taken a position.
