The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours are 23,340, of which 53 were detected after checks at the country's entry gates. The total number of cases is 1,703,396 (daily change +1.4%), of which 49.8% are male.
Based on the confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 443 are considered to be associated with travel from abroad and 2,214 are associated with an already known case.

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 106, with a total of 22 197 deaths recorded since the start of the epidemic. 95.0% had underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older.
The number of intubated patients hospitalized is 673 (58.5% male). Their median age is 65 years. 80.1% have an underlying disease and/or are 70 years of age or older. Among intubated patients, 548 (81.43%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 125 (18.57%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,916 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
Covid-19 new patient admissions to hospitals in the territory are 475 (daily change +0.64%). The seven-day average admission is 552 patients.
The median age of cases is 36 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of deaths is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
