"Bells" 1,500 euros to a centre for crowding customers dancing on the dance floor Complaints by 23 citizens and 9 premises managers for violations of COVID measures
A total of 2,729 inspections were carried out by the police in the last 24 hours as part of checks on anti-coronavirus measures during which complaints were filed by 23 citizens and 9 managers of establishments.
The Police Press Office reported that in Nicosia 1,125 checks were carried out and 1 establishment and 3 citizens were denounced, in Limassol 266 checks resulted in complaints against 6 establishments and 4 citizens and in Larnaca in 494 checks 1 establishment was denounced.
In Famagusta there were 388 checks and 7 citizens were complained against, in Paphos there were 135 checks and 1 complaint was made against 1 establishment and 6 citizens and in Morphou in 203 checks 3 citizens were complained against.
The Traffic Police carried out 118 checks without a complaint.
Στη Λευκωσία το μεγαλύτερο πρόστιμο ύψους 1,500 ευρώ προέκυψε εναντίον χώρου εστίασης γιατί πελάτες χόρευαν και υπήρχε συνωστισμός στην πίστα.
Στη Λεμεσό οι περισσότερες καταγγελίες αφορούσαν χώρους εστίασης και στην Πάφο 1 υποστατικό καταγγέλθηκε γιατί δεν έκανε ελέγχους για safepass.
Στη Λάρνακα επίσης καταγγέλθηκε ένας χώρος για εξυπηρέτηση πελατών στο μπαρ.
