Dramatic moments for the residents of North Evia, who are at the mercy of bad weather

The long-suffering North Evia is suffering once again.The bad weather "Carmel" is sweeping the island with heavy snowfall and strong winds.The biggest problem is faced by residents in the municipality of Mantoudiou, where at least ten villages are without power. Thefierce winds knocked downPPC poles, leaving7,000 citizens without electricityand consequentlywithout heatingat a time when the temperature is expected to move below freezing as night approaches.
