According to the Police, the roads in the mountains are open for all vehicles, however in the higher mountains of Troodos, due to frost, the road surface is slippery.

Today the weather will gradually become partly cloudy. The winds will blow mainly northwest to northeast, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, but initially on the southern coast up to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will generally be slightly rough, but initially on the east and north coasts it will be rough to choppy. The temperature will rise to around 11 degrees in the interior, around 13 degrees on the coast and around 2 degrees in the higher mountains, where there will be frost.

Tonight the weather will be partly cloudy. Winds will be mainly northwest to northeast, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, but later in the east and locally on the southern coast moderate, 4 Beaufort. The sea will generally be a little rough, but later on the east coast it will become rough to rough. The temperature will drop to around zero in the interior, around 3 degrees on the southern and eastern coasts, around 5 degrees on the western and northern coasts and around minus 5 degrees in the higher mountains. In the mountains, semi-mountains and some leeward areas of the interior, frost is expected to form.

On Monday

the weather will be partly cloudy and mostly cloudy at times with the possibility of isolated light rain and light snowfall in the mountains and possibly in some semi-mountainous areas.

On Tuesday and Wednesday the weather will initially be mainly clear, but clouds developing in the midday and afternoon hours are expected to bring local rain, isolated thunderstorms and snow in the mountains, especially on Wednesday.

Temperatures will gradually rise until Wednesday, remaining below average climatic values.

The snow depth at Troodos Square, at the time of writing, was 42 cm.
