"Following the resignation of the executive director of OKYPY, was followed yesterday by the resignation of two other members of the Board of Directors," AKEL said in a written statement, noting that: "the situation in the administration and management of the Agency presents a picture of chaos and disintegration."
"It is also reflected in the deterioration of the public health sector. For this extremely problematic situation, the sole responsibility lies with the government of the Coalition," AKEL notes.
It stresses that "it is abundantly clear that OKYPY needs radical, total change. It needs a new authority to meet its mission and the urgent need to restore public hospitals."
