Koukoumas' reply:
"AKEL has never accepted and will never accept Turkey's dichotomous claims. Unfortunately, the President, who was discussing the two-state solution behind closed doors, cannot say the same.
But the Government Spokesman has nothing to say about the cigarette case. For years, the Coalition government has been fostering illusions that it would succeed in imposing sanctions that would hurt Turkey. Now, the strategy is falling apart but we are not being told who will take responsibility for the failure and who will apologise to the people for the serial lies. Nicos Anastasiades? Averof Neophytou? Nikos Christodoulides? Or better, all together?"
