Police handcuffed a 53-year-old woman in Nicosia.
According to information, as part of investigations into cases of theft from supermarkets, evidence against the woman in question emerged, resulting in an arrest warrant being issued and she was arrested by members of the OPE.
The woman in question, a Greek Cypriot woman, allegedly regularly went to supermarkets, filled baskets with products and left without paying.
The value of the stolen products is estimated to be in excess of 5 thousand euros.
