[Cyprus Times] A gynaecologist was convicted for the death of a 30-year-old pregnant woman in Patras

The family feels vindicated by the court's decision

In May 2016 Patras was shocked by the death of a 31-year-old businessman,[/B] who, two months before, had lost his pregnant wife while preparing to give birth to their third child. The man had been found dead in the bathtub of his home by family members and his death was of pathological causes.

His family believed that the death of the wife was what took such a toll on the e businessman's health. They blamed the gynecologist, the trial took place a few days ago and the doctor was sentenced to 2 years in prison reports flamis.gr.

Her loss had cost him a lot. Together they had had two children, 4 and 1.5 years old. The woman died suddenly at the age of 30 while she was about to give birth to her third child.[/B] She was found dead in her home by a young woman who had been hired to look after her 1.5-year-old daughter. The eldest son of the family was at a nursery school that day.
