Weak high pressure temporarily affects the area, while gradually from Monday afternoon weak low pressure approaches the area. The snow depth at Troodos Square, at the time of writing, was 40 cm.

Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy and localised light showers are expected mainly in the western half of the island. Winds will be mainly northwest to northeast, light, 2 to 3 Beaufort and the sea will be calm to slightly choppy. The temperature will drop to around 7 degrees inland, around 9 degrees on the south and east coasts, around 10 degrees on the west and north coasts and around 1 degree on the higher mountains, where frost is expected to form locally.

Tomorrow, initially, the weather in most areas will be mainly clear while in the west and locally in the north there will be increasing clouds. Gradually the weather will become mainly cloudy and in the early afternoon isolated light showers are expected in the west while from late afternoon onwards, local, mainly light, showers are expected in the western half of the island. Winds will be mainly south to southwest, initially light 3, soon light to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort and later locally in the south moderate to strong 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will become a little rough and in the late afternoon, locally in the west and south, up to rough. Temperatures will rise to around 20 degrees inland, in the south, north and on the east coast, around 19 degrees on the west coast and around 8 degrees in the higher mountains.

In the evening, the weather will be partly cloudy and partly mostly cloudy and initially in the western half of the island and later in the north, local light showers are expected. Winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly light to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly choppy and later on the western coast to choppy.

On Tuesday, localised showers are expected initially, mainly in the west and south and later in other areas. Temperatures are not expected to show any significant change, and will be slightly above average climatic values.
