85 deaths and 3689 new cases of coronavirus announced in Greece today

Eighty-five new deaths from coronavirus were recorded in Greece in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 3,689 new cases were recorded today, Monday 20 December, according to the epidemiological report of the National Public Health Organization

According to the EODY's announcement. The total number of cases is 1,037,759 (daily change +0.4%), of which 50.5% are males. Based on the confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 199 are considered to be associated with travel from abroad and 2.764 are associated with an already known case.

New deaths of patients with COVID-19

are 85, with a total of 19,976 deaths recorded since the start of the epidemic. 95.2% had underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older.The number of patients hospitalized

intubated

is 670 (61.8% male). Their median age is 64 years. 80.6% have an underlying disease and/or are 70 years of age or older.Among intubated patients, 555 (82.84%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 115 (17.16%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,667 patients have been discharged from ICUs.

admissions of new Covid-19

patients to hospitals in the territory are 258 (daily change -28.13%). The average seven-day admission is 335 patients.The

median age of cases

is 38 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of deaths is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
