8 flights from Cyprus to Athens affected due to bad weather Problems due to weather conditions
A total of eight flights, six from Larnaca Airport and two from Paphos Airport to Athens, which were scheduled to take place today, Tuesday 25 January, until noon, are affected by the exceptional weather conditions prevailing in Greece.
Information reported by the Cyprus News Agency from Hermes Airports says that from Larnaca airport to Athens, four flights and two arrivals from Athens to Larnaca were cancelled today until noon, with a total of 306 passengers affected.
The two departures cancelled for the Larnaca - Athens route were to be operated by Aegean airline and two by SkyExpress.
Regarding the arrivals for the Athens - Larnaca route, one flight was cancelled and one was to be operated by Aegean and one by SkyExpress.
Due to the severe weather conditions in Greece, two flights are affected for today until noon, one arrival from Athens to Paphos airport and one departure from Paphos to Athens, which were to be operated by Tus Air.
A total of 42 passengers are affected by the flight cancellations from Paphos airport to Athens.
It is noted that yesterday, Monday 24 January, four flights were cancelled, two arrivals from Athens - Larnaca and two departures Larnaca - Athens, affecting 228 passengers.
