The Ministry of Health announces that today, February 25, 2022:
7 deaths
They concern:
o Male, aged 54 years, who died on 23 February
o Male, aged 75 years, who died on 24 February
o Female, aged 92 years, who died on 24 February
o Male, aged 95 years, who died on 24 February
o Male, aged 88 years, who died on 25 February
o Female, aged 94 years, who died on 25 February
o Female, aged 78 years, who died on 25 February
Total number of deaths with a terminal cause of COVID-19: 848.
155 COVID-19 patients hospitalized
34 in serious condition (ICU: 2 off ventilator/13 intubated, NICU: 19)
Percentage of inpatients with no history of vaccination: 60.65%
24 patients who ceased to be infectious continue to be intubated due to COVID in an ICU.

A total of 113,253 diagnostic tests

Private initiative:
1.604 molecular tests, 176 positive cases detected (10.97% positivity rate)
48,604 rapid antigen detection tests performed, 949 positive cases detected (1.95% positivity rate)
58,332 rapid antigen detection tests performed through Ministry of Health programs
58,332 rapid antigen detection tests performed. 611 positive cases were detected.
Sampling points: 18,349 rapid detection tests detected 358 positive cases (positivity rate 1.95%)
Education
Primary education: 21.058 rapid antigen detection tests, 72 positive cases detected (0.34% positivity rate)
Secondary Education: 11,256 rapid detection tests, 63 positive cases detected (0.56% positivity rate)
Test-to-Stay: 4.301 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 42 positive cases were detected (0.98% positivity rate)
Special Schools: 176 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 1 positive case was detected (0.57% positivity rate)
Other
National Guard: 234 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 2 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0.85%)
Welfare homes: 983 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 19 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 1.93%)
Closed facilities: 198 rapid antigen detection tests were performed 1 new case was detected (positivity rate 0.51%).
Government services: 986 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 2 positive cases were detected (0.2% positivity rate)
Industrial areas: 103 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and no positive cases were detected (0% positivity rate)
